A SURVEY ABOUT THE FUTURE

The topic of the survey is what teens do after school. A group of 12 did the survey and in general most of the people do after school activities, and more than half do some sport.

It 's important to do after school activities to disconect from school and to keep fit and for this reason almost all the people of the class except Patricia do after school activites.

The second question is if they do sport or after school classes so all the people do sport and more than a half do suport classes. The third question is how many hours do people do of sport:

More than 1 hour a week: 9 (all the people do one hour minimum)

More than 3 hours a week: 8 (almost all the people except one do 3 hours minimum)

More than 5 hours a week: 4 (only some people do more than 5 hours)

In conclusion, almost all the teens want to keep themselves fit and healty doing sport and also a lot of them go to after school classes to improve his level of Maths English,...

Saint Patricks Day

A GOOD WEEKEND

Hi Michelle,

I visited my cousins in Barcelona last weekend. I arrived at their flat on Friday night. First we had dinner and then I went to bed. We were all very tired! The next day we played volleyball on the beach. After that we ate in a very nice restaurant. Finally we travelled back home on Sunday afternoon.

I had a great time! I enjoyed seeing my cousins- it was a lot of fun.

Hi Sergi,

Last weekend I went to Pals on Saturday morning. First I went to fish all the morning, then I had dinner in a restaurant. On the afternoon I went home to play video games and for dinner I had pizza.

On Sunday, I went on a bycicle trip all the morning to camps d'arròs of Pals then for lunch I had fish and in the afternoon I went to a cinema to see an horror film.

I had a grat time and I fished a lot!!!

THE BOXTROLLS

This adventure film is based on children's book called Here Be Snow. It's about an orphan boy called Eggs adopted by the Boxtrolls. The trolls live underground and recycle rubbish. When an evil exterminator called Archibald Snatcher is sent to eliminate the Boxtrolls, Eggs has to save his strange family.

I chosed this part of the megazine because I think that is the more funniest film of all the megazine. And also because I want to see this film.

MY IDEAL HOME

My ideal home is a flat near to the beach in the city of Los Angeles. It has got a big living room, a big kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. The living room has a big balcony with a small garden and a jacuzzi where you can see the city.
Now there's all my family in the living room watching a film except me that I'm taking the popcorn.
My favorite room is my bedroom because it has a very comfortable bed, a cupboard with games and books and a big TV with the the playstation3. I like it because I can play on the PS3 when I want and also I like that I can see the beach trough the window next to the TV.

DESCRIPTION OF MY FRIEND

My friend's name is Lluís and he is twelve years old. Lluís is very quiet but very friendly too. He likes rowing. He spends a lot of time playing computer games and he also likes fishing. He spends his money on computer games.

I spend a lot of time studying and talking with friends on the internet. And I spend some money on clothes and videogames, but not a lot. I also spend my free time playing videogames at the weekends.

REQUESTS:

MY EXPEDITION TO THE SAHARA

Last summer I went with a group of scientists to explore how the animals can survive  in the desert of Sahara. When they invited me to go with them I was really happy. I took a compass, a first aid kit, a map of the Sahara, some clothes and of course solar protection cream.

The first day of  walking was very boring and I can't describe the desert of Sahara because it's ugly but at the same time beautiful. I didn't think that at night it will be so cold so I had a surprise on my first night. The second day was more fun, we found and strange chameleon that drinks with the tail and a rabbit that can live whitout driking during his life. I was very  thirsty at that night but there you cant drink a lot because you need to save water. After three days nothing interesting happened, but at last day there was a sand storm and I was lost by two hours. I was so thirsty and hungry! Finally a helicopter saw me and took me back with the others scientists back home

LONDON

London is a city in the south of England. People first lived in London about 2000 years ago in Roman times, London was called Londinium and it has a population of 45,000 people in that times now the population is about 7,5 milion now.

There are places with the names of important batles or important people, for example:

Trafalgar square conmemorates the battle of Trafalgar and Victoria Street conmemorates the Queen Victoria.

The people of London are called Londoners or 'Cockneys'. Famous Londoners are Charlie Chaplin and Arthur Conan Doyle. Charlie Chaplin is a famous actor and Arthur Conan Doyle was the writer of Sherlock Holmes stories.

MY SCHOOL

Hi,

I'm very happy that you're coming to my school for a few days of next month. Here's some information about timetable and activities of my school.

School starts at 9:00 o'clock but on Wednesday and on Friday starts at 8:30. We have six lessons every day. The lessons are fifty-five minutes. English, Catalan, Spanish, History and Geography, P.I, Science, Art, Music, Religion and Maths are compolsory subjecs, but we can choose other subjects like Competencia comunicativo or T.C.I or Ket exam.

We can eat at 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock at home or at school except on Wednesday and on Friday because we only can eat at home at 3 o'clock. We finish school at 5 o'clock except on Wednesday and on Friday that we finish at 3 o'clock.

I usually eat at home but on Moondays I eat at school and the food is nasty.

BANYOLES

Banyoles is near Girona. It's a big town or a small city. There is some tourism. They come to the lake. I like Banyoles because it's bigger than a town and smaller than a city. I like it because it's not very noisy and we have a lots of shops like a city. My favourite places are club natació Banyoles because in the summer you can swim there, and the major sqare because you can play there. You can come by car or by pulic bus. Banyoles have aliso a bus station. 

Bob Marley

He was born in Jamaica on 16^th of Frebruary. His father was a general of the Britannic army. He was divorced from his wife and Bob and his mother went to Kingston in a poor neighborhood to find work. Here Bob sang in his first group in 1963 and he became famous only in Jamaica. Then in 1966 he become married with Rita Anderson and this year with a group of friends made a group called 'The Wailers' They sang reggae music and his first albums were famous around the world. Then  they went to all USA to sing their songs.

Finally Bob Marley died of Cancer at the age of 36 on 11^th of May because he smoked a lot during his life.

Polar Bears and Tigers

Polar bears

Polar bears live in the Artic, Canada,Russia,Greenland and Norway. They live and hunt on the ice. Adult polar bears are 750 Kilos. They can swim more than 150 Kilometres. Females have two cubs every four or five years.

Pollution is a problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas. The Artic ice is smaller because the climate is changing.

Tigers

The tigers live in Asia and in Africa. They eat meat. They can weight 360 kilos. Females have tree cubs every two years. They are very fast, they can go at 100 kilometers per hour.

The illegal hunting and the deforestation is a problem for them. They are dangerously near the extinction.
